This garden design and implementation in Abington was done for one of our clients who was honoring her late husband with a gift to Abington Hospital.
Garrett Churchill worked closely with the client to help realize her vision. The goal was to create a semi-private sitting area where people visiting friends and family at the hospital could have a peaceful moment either before or after their visit.
The patio area is surrounded by a hedge providing privacy from the hospital entrance. A boulder fountain produces soothing sounds, too.
Selected planting provides year round color and texture with a balance of deciduous trees and shrubs, evergreen trees and shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses.
Below, please find some additional pictures of the garden plus the initial proposed design.
Do you think any of these elements might work for a project you have in mind? Contact Garrett Churchill to discuss further!
